HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENT PRINCIPLES
ATCO Powers principles guide our approach to health, safety and
environment (HSE) management and provide a foundation for corporate and
local HSE policies and guidelines.
ATCO Power supports the following principles:
Safety is the first consideration in everything we do. It is a part
of any decision we make and every action we take. The job gets done only
when it can be done safely.
Every person working for ATCO Power has a responsibility to ensure
their personal safety and to avoid creating danger to others and harm to
the environment.
As a minimum, ATCO Power will comply with all HSE regulatory
requirements.
HSE considerations are integrated in our business, construction and
operational decisions to ensure we act in a safe and responsible manner
with minimal impact to the environment.
We will manage the impact of our facilities on the environment
through activities such as pollution prevention, energy efficiency, waste
minimization and relevant research and development.
We will work together with employees, contractors, business partners
and regulatory agencies to continually improve our HSE performance.
