Joe Schnitzer
Joe Schnitzer joined ASHCOR Technologies in 1998 and was instrumental in the initial planning, marketing, and launch of the company. In 2000, Joe was promoted to General Manager, and was appointed President of ASHCOR Technologies Ltd. in 2002.
Joe holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Calgary. His professional expertise is in the behavior of materials containing Portland cement, fly ash, chemical admixtures, and other supplementary cementing materials as in concrete, concrete products, and oil well cements.
Joe is and has been a member of various associations such as, The American Concrete Institute (ACI), The Alberta Ready Mixed Concrete Association (ARMCA), and The Association of Professional Engineers of Alberta (APEGGA). Joe is a founding member and sits on the board of CIRCA (Canadian Industries Recycling Coal Ash).
